A Neighbourhood Network Scheme working with and for older people and their carers living in the Whinmoor Ward, covering; Swarcliffe, Stanks and Whinmoor.

Our aim is:

Being located in Swarcliffe Community Centre, along with Leeds City College, Youth Service and Inside Outside Child Care, allows for the provision of an excellent comprehensive community service to local people.

The service provision of SGNS provides practical help, promotes social inclusion, information on healthy living and advice on health issues. Advice and information regarding benefits, referral’s from and onto other service providers (Statutory, Voluntary or Private) to meet their need, can promote the independence of older people and their carers to live independently within the local community.
